The NESG-Stanbic IBTC Business Confidence Monitor (BCM) is the flagship sur=
vey-based report of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), supported by=
 Stanbic IBTC. This edition, published in March 2025, provides insights int=
o business performance for **February 2025**.

Businesses in Nigeria reported a sustained improvement in performance for t=
he second consecutive month in 2025, signalling favourable business conditi=
ons in the year. As a result, the current Business Performance Index for **=
February 2025=C2=A0** stands at +11.50, reflecting a rise in business activ=
ities and a moderate improvement compared to +5.69 points in January 2025.

Businesses faced significant growth challenges this month, with foreign exc=
hange constraints, inadequate power supply, unclear economic policies, and =
limited access to financing topping the list.
