=99t just about hosting another conference. It was about answering a questi=
on that had long been overlooked=E2=80=94 who is building the builders?

Across Africa, we saw incredible entrepreneurs launching bold ideas, but be=
hind every successful startup was an invisible force=E2=80=94 the ecosystem=
 enablers . The incubators guiding young founders, the accelerators opening=
 doors to funding, the policymakers shaping business environments, and the =
investors betting on innovation. But while founders had platforms to pitch =
and celebrate their success, the people who made it all possible remained i=
n the shadows.

ASEB was born to change that narrative . To give ecosystem builders a stage=
, a network, and the resources they need to keep creating thriving startup =
environments .
From Johannesburg to Nairobi to Accra , this movement has grown beyond expe=
ctations. We have built bridges, started critical conversations, and empowe=
red those who shape the future of Africa=E2=80=99s innovation economy. But =
as I stand here today, reflecting on this journey, I realize that we are on=
ly just beginning.

Now, we take ASEB into Francophone Africa for the first time . C=C3=B4te d'=
Ivoire is not just our next destination=E2=80=94it is the next chapter in o=
ur story. It represents an opportunity to break down silos between Francoph=
one and Anglophone startup ecosystems , to create stronger cross-border col=
laborations, and to ensure that no ecosystem is left behind in Africa=E2=80=
=99s innovation drive.
I feel both proud and deeply aware of the work ahead . The demand for stron=
ger collaboration, sustainable funding, and global visibility for ecosystem=
 enablers has never been greater. We have laid the foundation =E2=80=94but =
now, we must scale our impact .
